Vocabulary:
Factor = a number that goes in to another number
Multiple = a number that can be divided by another number equally
Remainders = a leftover number
Divide = to split equally (/ is the symbol for divide)
Multiply = a mathematical operation where a number is added to itself a number of times

1. Bob, Joe, Sue , Frank , Eli and Lee had 96 brownies. They split them up evenly between the 6 of them. How many brownies does each person get?
2. Ellie bought 12 boxes \of crayons and each box cost $12. He was half way home when he realized that he needed 5 more boxes. However, when he returned to the store they had tripled in price. How much money did he spend that day?
3. There were 156 brownies. Each of my 100 friends had 1. Then my sister joined us with 3 of her friends. Each of them had 2 brownies. How many brownies left over?
4. Ken had 50 marbles. He split them up and put them in 5 jars. Each jar had an equal amount of marbles. The next day his mom gave him 25 more and he put them equally into each of the 5 jars. How many marbles are in each jar?
5. Mary had 8 boxes with 8 Barbie dolls in each. How many Barbie dolls were there in total?
